In the past, we worked with Make-A-Wish, HUGS, and the Salvation Army. This year we are in partnership with the Hawaii State 4-H Program. We will be conducting SPecial INterests (SPIN) Club classes for children and young teens.

The History Behind FOF

Founding of Friends of the Family: Dr. Joe O'Reilly, a long-time faculty member before he retired some time ago, started the club in 1996. He believed it was important to give students a chance to get together for social activities and to give back to the community with service projects. It is amazing to think that the club is still carrying on the same goals since its founding this many years ago. The club's longevity is due to the active involvement of students like you and others over the years.

Meet the Officers

There are a total of 10 officers for the Spring 2019 semester, including our Advisor. Each officer has a specific role and responsibility in our club.
